The Bridge Street House of Prayer (BSHOP) is a community of people who are surrendered to the love of Jesus working in and through them to bring transformation in their neighborhood that multiplies in the city of Grand Rapids.

The BSHOP is based on prayer, community living, and meeting the spiritual and physical needs of their neighbors on the West Side of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Beyond their neighborhood, God has given them a vision that extends into the entire city of Grand Rapids. They desire to see the whole city revived through the power and love of Jesus Christ.

Believing that a lifestyle of prayer and of intimacy with Jesus Christ is the way to bring about transformation in Grand Rapids, individuals involved in the BSHOP are committed to a relationship with Jesus Christ that first brings about transformation in their own lives.

Many of the people involved in the BSHOP live in the neighborhood in community houses and gather together for prayer, worship, and meals. Others gather with the community during the week for various community events and ministry.

By living in the neighborhood, and through various ministry opportunities, the BSHOP has become a presence on the West Side, and desires to see revival come to Bridge Street, then flood outward into the city of Grand Rapids.
