PRAYER—Prayer is relational communication with God in which He changes us from within and acts on our behalf. There is power when we pray according to God’s will. It is foundational to everything we do: II Chronicles 7:14
INTIMACY WITH JESUS—Jesus is present. In all we do, our primary call is to glorify Jesus through an intimate relationship with Him. We believe in the sovereignty and holiness of God and we worship Him accordingly: Psalm 27:4
ACTION—We actively extend the love of Christ to our neighbors: Matthew 25:35-36, 40b
DISCIPLESHIP—We develop disciples of Christ by investing in relationships: Matthew 28:18
COMMUNITY—We purposefully share our lives with each other to cultivate a culture of the Kingdom of God: Acts 2:42
AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE—The Bible is the inspired word of God, without error or defect. It contains the Truth which defines our lives: II Timothy 3:16
YIELDING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT—We walk by the Spirit daily in faith, continually strive to move not according to our will but according to the will of the Father expressed to us through the Holy Spirit: John 16:13
SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE—One major component of our pursuit of God comes in practicing the ancient paths of spiritual discipline (fasting, meditation on Scripture, prayer, solitude and silence, celebration, etc.): I Corinthians 9:24-27
