Every year, we hold a few large events that we invite our neighborhood into.
In the summer, we have what we call a Day of Jubilee. The Jubilee is like a big free yard sale where we invite people to freely give away the things they no longer need and to freely take the things they do need. We distribute “BSHOP bucks” to everyone who comes that they use to select items for “purchase.”
Our annual Fall Fest is a big party we hold in the Pavilion featuring fall foods, live music, and activities for everyone.
Around Christmastime, we throw a big Feast in the Tabernacle. We invite everyone to sit around tables and share a meal, we tell the story of Jesus, and have activities or a winter clothes giveaway afterwards.
