Middle School Director
When I was a teenager, I heard a pastor say this concerning finding a career, “Do something you love so much, that you are willing to do it for free but do it so well that you will get paid for it.” For me this is Youth Ministry and I have been blessed to be on this journey of walking with adolescents for the past 13 years, and I don’t see myself ever stopping. I owe this passion for God and for working with youth to my late grandmother and mother, who were two woman that loved God and loved children and youth and I can’t thank them enough for instilling in me a love for these same things.
In my down time I love listening to music, walking, and reading a good book. I also love to travel and have a bucket list of places in the world I want to go visit and explore. As I walk into my new journey here at BSHOP, I pray that God will use me as His vessel to serve the northwest side of Grand Rapids with an open heart, and a caring and gentle spirit that is a physical demonstration of His love for each of us.
